What a beautiful wedding - my first this Spring - for Liedewij & Rogier at York House and afterwards for champagne on the terrace overlooking the gardens. It felt like summer had arrived.
I am always searching for moments of connection and emotion centre and side-stage at a wedding. No shortage of that here and no apologies for all the moving moments below. Liedewij & Rogier were reunited with their close family from the Netherlands with not one dry eye in the house, including me, at the moment of their personal vows navigated with alternating tears and joy and with their beautiful little boy taking it all in. He won’t remember of course but he will have the pictures.
