Orleans House Gallery Wedding, Twickenham

Brett & Evelina’s wedding took place at the newly renovated, stunning Octagon Room at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham. Spring was in the air and the grounds burgeoning with green and parsley flowers, hope and love.

Orleans House Gallery was built in 1721 largely to entertain Georgian Royalty. The highly opulent and romantic baroque Octagon Room is a wonderful option for wedding couples looking at west London wedding venues or more specifically in Twickenham, Richmond, St Margarets and the Teddington area.

Apart from the Octagon Room itself, and the scope for wedding photography inside, the other really great thing about this venue is its setting within a natural woodland overlooking the River Thames. Whatever time of year you decide to get wed, there is ample scope for beautiful imaginative wedding photographs in and around the architecture, the river itself and woodland paths.

Evelina and Brett’s day began for me at the Petersham Hotel where the girls were getting ready, thence to Orleans House for the ceremony and onwards for celebrations at the White Horse in Richmond.
