Naming Ceremony Photography, The Avenue Halls, Kew
Family and friends gather to for E’s naming ceremony in Kew and to mark her long awaited arrival into the world. E did everything on queue. She slept before the ceremony, yawned contentedly during it, kept her grandmother’s christening booties on - most of the time - and, in her grandmother’s christening blanket rescued from the loft for her special day, smiled lovingly at everyone who clamoured to meet and adore her.
A beautiful Spring day with low light inside and bright sunshine out for this Naming ceremony at St Luke’s The Avenue Halls in Kew where everything was about the union of family, friendship and community. Seven guide parents and all ages and generations coming together and contributing something to share in Katie & Richard’s joy at the arrival of E.
